Stores Coordinator (S1A)Location: Northam Traincare FacilityPay Rate: 13.59 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pmContract: Full-time, Temporary (6 months, possibility of extension)Start Requirements: No medical or Drug and Alcohol test required prior to startDriving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence essential (company van provided)About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to join a busy rail maintenance operation based at Northam Traincare Facility. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring materials, tools and consumables are available when needed to support train maintenance and production activities.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing stock, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records and transporting materials between company sites and suppliers. Regular travel will be required, with the furthest delivery location typically being Clapham.This position would suit someone with previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience who enjoys a varied role combining stock control, material handling and driving responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesStores and Inventory ManagementReceive, inspect and book in deliveries.Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.Carry out regular stock counts and cycle counts.Issue materials, tools and consumables to operational teams.Monitor stock levels and order stores consumables when required.Ensure all items are correctly labelled, stored and easily ..... full job details .....
