Stock Controller

Overview We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our logistics and supply chain team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing various administrative functions related to warehouse operations, transportation management, and process optimisation. Monday-Friday. 07:00-15:30 12.71 p/h Temp to Perm. Responsibilities Oversee category management activities to ensure stock levels and product classifications are optimised. Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to coordinate shipments, track inventory, and streamline workflows. Support third-party logistics (3PL) providers in coordinating shipping, receiving, and distribution activities. Manage shipping documentation, customs compliance, and delivery schedules in accordance with organisational standards. . Coordinate materials handling activities including picking and packing operations within the warehouse environment. Skills Proven experience in category management, process optimisation, and supply chain logistics. Strong understanding warehouse management systems (WMS). ping and receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse experience including picking and packing processes is highly desirable. PC literate including use of Microsoft office ( Excel, Word, outlook and PP) MHE CB and Reach licence is desirable but will be trained if not. ..... full job details .....
