STOCK CONDITION SURVEYOR - NOW HIRING

Berry Recruitment are looking for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join a Housing Asset Management team.

This is a varied role involving property inspections, asset management, planned maintenance and technical problem-solving, working closely with tenants, contractors and other property professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out Stock Condition, HHSRS and Energy Performance surveys
  * Assess building condition, defects and future maintenance requirements
  * Identify and recommend appropriate maintenance and investment priorities
  * Support planned, cyclical and reactive maintenance programmes
  * Assist with New Build, Acquisition, refurbishment and improvement projects
  * Investigate and resolve complex property, technical and asset management issues
  * Work closely with tenants and property professionals to find practical solutions
  * Provide technical advice and recommendations on building-related matters
  * Help ensure projects meet quality, financial, time and legislative requirements
  * Monitor and contribute to maintenance programmes and asset management strategies
  * Ensure properties have the required Energy Performance Certificates before re-letting
  * Make informed decisions and recommendations supporting the effective management of housing assets

WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR:

• Construction-related qualification and relevant experience
  * Strong knowledge of building construction, defects and maintenance
  * Knowledge of HHSRS and relevant construction legislation
  * Domestic Energy Assessor qualification
  * P402 Asbestos Surveying & Sampling qualification
  * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  * Full UK driving licence
