Overview

We currently have permanent, full-time Registered Nurse opportunities available in our clients “Older Adults” independent living service in Ayr, Ayrshire. These are permanent positions with a respected care provider offering high standards of care to both the Elderly and Younger Adults. The service supports a multi-unit operation with residents who have a range of medical conditions.The Registered Nurse will be based within a newly renovated service currently supporting Older Adults with a Dementia diagnosis and other age-related conditions. The role involves providing person-centred, outcome-focused care to residents, promoting independence and maximising skills through daily living activities.What we can offer you

Fully qualified Nurse with a current NMC Registration and NMC PinThe right to live and work in the UKA minimum 1 year post-qualification nursing experienceExperience working with Younger AdultsThe ability to demonstrate initiative in de-escalation and redirectionA working knowledge of ECP (electronic care planning)Adaptable to your environment and changeAn understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of ConductA commitment to providing a standard of care that exceeds both company and industry standardsRole Responsibilities

Support service users to lead meaningful and fulfilling livesAssist service users to maximise their skills and encourage independence in daily living activitiesSupport service users to make informed decisions affecting their health and wellbeingSupport service users with the safe administration of medicationAssist service users to meet medical needs (e.g., diabetes management, catheter care, stoma care; training can be provided if required)Work with other health and social care professionals to meet all care needsDevelop and review care plans and risk assessmentsUndertake and facilitate care reviewsProvide leadership to ensure effective shift management, prioritising tasks, delegating where appropriate, and supporting junior staffMaintain accurate documentation and care records, with strong verbal and written communicationTo Apply
