We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist. Developmental role considered for applicants from those seeking a developmental path from 5 to 6 working under a developmental plan. This full-time, permanent position is based in Milton Keynes and offers the opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team while making a real difference to children and families in the community.This role works across the early years and early years complex needs team, focusing on understanding children’s speech, language and communication needs, and facilitating the development of functional skills. You will support the Early Years teams in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children with a variety of complex needs.As a senior therapist in a small team, you will support speech and language therapy associate practitioners, devise therapy plans, and provide clinical guidance, supervision, and mentorship. Support the Early Years teams in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children with a variety of complex needs.Devise therapy plans for children and supervise or mentor Speech and Language Therapy Associate Practitioners.Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and mentorship within a small team.Collaborate with families and other professionals to support understanding and development of communication skills.Qualifications

Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist or equivalent; developmental role considered for applicants pursuing a developmental pathway.Experience in paediatric speech, language and communication needs; ability to work across Early Years settings; supervision/leadership experience preferred.Employer and location
