Overview

Are you passionate about working with adults with a learning disability? This is a new opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join an established Occupational Therapy team working across inpatient and community learning disability services.The post holder will work within the specialist inpatient service (Najurally Centre) 22.5 hours a week. These hours can be worked flexibly depending on the needs of the service. 15 hours will be worked in the Community Team for Adults with a Learning Disability based at Waddiloves Health Centre in Bradford, working across Bradford, Craven and Keighley. This is a full-time post with an option for flexible working.The team is focused on delivering high quality care for adults with a learning disability who require specialist health support. This includes needs related to physical health, mental health, sensory impairment, communication, or behavioural presentation. The post is well supported by an Occupational Therapy Team and there is also support from a part-time Band 7 within the inpatient services. The OT role sits within a full multidisciplinary team with opportunities to work alongside all professionals. There are excellent CPD opportunities for ongoing professional development.
