You will support the clinical pharmacy service across inpatient wards, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines through activities such as medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and patient counselling.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes.Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, participate in audits, and support staff training across the hospital.Act as an ambassador for the pharmacy department to drive continuous improvement in medicines management and promote evidence-based prescribing.Qualifications
EssentialMasters Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)GPhC RegistrationDesirablePgDip / Masters in clinical or general pharmacy practice, or willingness to enrol (desirable)Experience
EssentialMinimum 2 years post-registration experience in a hospital settingExcellent clinical, communication and organisational skillsDesirableExperience in training, clinical audit, or guideline development (desirable)Other requirements
