They will be responsible for smooth running of the kitchen, menu creation and design, and ensuring the restaurant stays up to date with food trends.Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide food and service to a consistent high standard within the restaurantTo assist training of junior staffTo be responsible for ordering of all ingredientsTo place order directly with suppliersTo plan, cost and develop the menus, in line with the seasonsResponsible to manage stock levels of that specific area including ordering when required as well as waste control.Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered toAs described in the Searcy Health and Safety Policy, including best practices to ensure personal hygiene at all times.Demonstrates Personal DevelopmentQualificationsMinimum 2 years experience in a similar role and positionTakes the initiativeSupportiveteam playerDemonstrates high level of organisationTo be willing to work the hours and the needs of the businessTo be able to work under pressure and to cope with any unforeseen circumstancesTo have a positive and co-operative attitude.Additional InformationSearcys, Britain’s oldest catering and restaurant brand, was established in 1847.
