Junior Sous Chef
to help lead our kitchen brigade and elevate every plate that leaves our pass.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
Lead and inspire the team during service, maintaining calm and quality under pressure
Take responsibility for maintaining high standards across all sections
Ensure dishes are consistently prepared and presented to spec
Assist with rota management, stock control, and ordering
Train and mentor junior team members to promote growth and efficiency
Uphold food hygiene, safety, and allergen standards at all times
Contribute to menu development, bringing ideas and creativity to seasonal specials
What We''re Looking For
Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
Confidence in leading a section and supporting the wider kitchen team
A strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is highly desirable
Passion for high-quality, seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques
A team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
Committed to maintaining a clean, organised, and disciplined kitchen environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and across a full-time rota
