About the Role

This permanent Sous Chef position in London is based at a well-loved, wet-led pub near Chancery Lane. You will oversee a small kitchen team, ensuring the consistent delivery of fresh, in-house cooking. Working Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays always off, the role suits a chef who values precision and honest, well-executed dishes. Sous Chef Requirements:


  • A hands£on, reliable Sous Chef with strong experience in fresh food kitchens Confident leading sections, supporting junior chefs, and maintaining standards during busy service
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Food Alert, and kitchen compliance
  • Experienced with stock takes, ordering, and maintaining cost control
  • Keen to support ongoing menu development and bring ideas to the table
  • A background in reputable pubs, restaurants, or hotels, with a track record of consistency, professionalism, and high standards
