Join a forward-thinking transformation team within one of the UK''s most respected financial institutions. This is your opportunity to help define what the "branch of the future" looks like - creating smarter, more engaging, and efficient experiences for customers and colleagues alike.

You''ll work at the intersection of innovation and practicality, designing solutions that integrate cutting-edge technologies with existing bank infrastructure. This role plays a key part in modernising how customers interact with in-branch services - from self-service devices like ATMs and IDMs, to improving how branch colleagues are trained and supported.

The Role:

As a Solution Architect, you''ll:

  • Partner closely with the transformation team to explore, test, and implement new tech and self-service solutions across the bank''s branch network.
  • Ensure all new innovations are aligned with existing systems and architecture across the wider bank.
  • Support the Senior Architect by contributing technical insight and architectural documentation (MVD design).
  • Engage with stakeholders across various forums to represent the branch technology space and help shape strategic decisions.

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience working with ATMs, IDMs, and multifunction devices.
  • A well-rounded understanding of technology architecture within large-scale, regulated environments.
  • Experience with card platforms and how they connect to customer-facing technologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - able to represent the tech strategy confidently across forums.
  • Background in the financial sector - ideally banking - with hands-on knowledge of branch or customer tech solutions.

What We''re Looking For:

  • Someone based near Halifax or able to commit to 2 days per week onsite.
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives on innovation and collaboration.
  • Able to translate technical vision into practical solutions that align with business needs.
