Solderer (Second Stage)

About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Solderer to join a dynamic production team in Basildon. This hands-on role focuses on Second Stage operations, including Through Hole soldering and SMT re-work, supporting the manufacture of high-quality PCBs. You ll be working in a fast-paced environment where precision and quality are key. Key Responsibilities Hand soldering of conventional components to IPC Class 2 standards (Class 3 knowledge is a plus) Re-working SMT and conventional components Reading and interpreting work packs and product specifications Inspecting finished work and resolving defects Pre-forming components and accurate product labelling Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace What We re Looking For Proven experience in hand soldering within a manufacturing environment Familiarity with PCB manufacturing and ESD control Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions A proactive, flexible team player with good communication skills Physically fit for manual handling and able to work on your feet Benefits 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays Christmas shutdown Free onsite parking Complimentary fruit, breakfast, and eye care appointments Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Interview Process Onsite interview including a practical soldering task If you re passionate about electronics and want to be part of a growing team where your skills make a real impact, we d love to ..... full job details .....
