Social Value Manager / Specialist (MEP Consultancy) Location: North West (Flexible / Hybrid Manchester / Liverpool) Salary: £40,000 £45,000 + Benefits Package Role Type: Permanent, Full-timeAbout the Role Are you passionate about translating engineering excellence into real, measurable community and social impact?We are a leading Building Services (MEP) Consultancy looking for a driven Social Value Manager to lead, shape, and embed our social value and sustainability initiatives across the North West. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between engineering design, public procurement requirements, and local community needs ensuring our MEP projects leave a lasting, positive legacy.Key Responsibilities Strategy and Delivery: Develop and deliver project-specific Social Value strategies across our MEP engineering portfolio, ensuring alignment with client targets and frameworks (e.g., PPN 06/20, National TOMs). Bids and Proposals: Work directly with our business development and bid teams to write winning social value responses for public and private sector tenders. Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with local councils, educational institutions, social enterprises, and community groups across the North West to coordinate STEM initiatives, work experience, and local career pathways.
