Social Media Manager - French speaking

Overview

The Social Media Manager''s main focus will be to drive the development of the NBA''s French Instagram and TikTok accounts, working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to build fandom in their dedicated market. A key function of the role will be ideating original TikTok first content formats to be produced in France. Working closely with creators and production partners, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a set number of content formats over 12 months. Please note: Regular attendance at the client''s offices in central London is required, whilst some weekend and out-of-hours work will be needed. International travel on occasion may be applicable.

How you''ll spend your time

Day-to-day management of French TikTok and Instagram channelsOverseeing the production and delivery of TikTok first original content, working with creators and production partners in marketContent ideation, pre-production planning, post-production, stakeholder management and community engagementExecuting the localised social media strategy in France as directed by the Senior Social Media ManagerPlanning and maintaining content calendars across channelsBriefing editors and designers to create market-specific content for your channelsContent ideation, creation and publication across French Instagram and TikTok handlesOverseeing projects, workflow, and deadlines and ensuring consistent high-quality work relating to your scope of workEnsuring output is engaging and optimised for the platform with the efficient application of channel best practiceCommunity Manager: monitoring conversations in relevant areas and engaging when appropriate

Qualifications

French Fluency - it is essential that the successful candidate can speak and write fluently in French, as well as having an understanding of French cultureStrong knowledge of social media platforms (in particular Instagram, Facebook and X) and track record of day-to-day social media management experienceDeep understanding of content formats and algorithmic nuances across those platforms is essentialA knowledge of basketball, players and teams and a sincere passion for the sport is desirableBasic Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop skills are beneficialManaging a pool of editors and designers and the briefing processPlanning content output across multiple territories and time zones to maximise reach and performanceExcellent stakeholder management with the ability to present a clear plan linked back to overall objectives and KPIsBased in Shoreditch, Little Dot Studios is a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network; a role with the Sports Team is described ..... full job details .....
