We are looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join our growing precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will be confident in programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head machines using Fanuc controls, with the ability to work to tight tolerances and produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

" Programme, set, and operate sliding head CNC machines using Fanuc controls.
" Work from customer drawings and specifications with minimal supervision (following training).
" Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances, carrying out quality checks on your own work.
" Use initiative to understand and follow manufacturing processes.
" Report tooling requirements to the supervisor.
" Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
" Complete training programmes as required to enhance skills and support professional development.
" Take responsibility for health, safety, and environmental risks within your role, reporting issues where necessary.
" Perform any other duties reasonably required within the position.

Key Measures of Success:

" Efficiency and accuracy in CNC programming, setting, and operating.
" Quality of produced components.
" Regular machine maintenance and upkeep.

About You:

" Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating (sliding head preferred).
" Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
" Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
" Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
" High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
