Are you an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer looking to join a well-established precision engineering company?

We''re seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team in Dudley. This is a hands-on role working on sliding head lathes with Fanuc controls, producing high-precision components to exacting customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Program, set, and operate sliding head CNC machines (Fanuc controls)

Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances

Conduct self-inspection to ensure quality and accuracy

Work independently with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes

Report tooling requirements and maintain a clean, organised workspace

Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

Participate in training and development as needed

What We''re Looking For

Proven experience programming and setting sliding head CNC machines

Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls

Ability to read and work from technical drawings

High attention to detail with a proactive attitude

Good understanding of precision engineering practices

Key Performance Measures

Programming, setting, and operating efficiency

Quality and accuracy of machined components

CNC machine upkeep and basic maintenance
