This is an exciting opportunity to work with 16-19 learners, delivering essential skills, study support and learner development programmes while also providing classroom cover where required.This rewarding role would suit candidates with experience teaching English, Maths, Functional Skills, Essential Skills Wales, Welsh Baccalaureate, Employability, Study Skills or Learning Support programmes within a school, sixth form or college setting.The Role Deliver engaging lessons in Essential Skills Wales and learner development programmes. Support learners to develop literacy, numeracy, digital and employability skills. Monitor learner progress and provide effective feedback and intervention. Facilitate workshops that improve study skills, resilience and independent learning. Provide high-quality classroom cover during staff absences. Promote positive behaviour and maintain an inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to support learner achievement and progression.The Ideal Candidate Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, QTS or equivalent).
