Our client in Reading is seeking a skilled and reliable Workshop Operative to join their busy team manufacturing high-quality outdoor furniture and timber products.This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, use their own initiative, and produce quality work with little or no supervision.Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00Pay Rates:3-day trial period paid at £12.71 per hourFollowing successful completion of the trial and demonstration of the required skills and ability to work without supervision, the pay rate increases to £14.10 per hourOvertime after 10 hours per day and all hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays are paid at £21.15 per hourWhat you''ll do:Manufacture and assemble high-quality outdoor furniture and timber productsCut, shape and prepare timber and other materialsOperate workshop tools, machinery and saws safely and efficientlyWork independently to complete jobs to a high standardMaintain quality standards and identify any issuesKeep the workshop clean, organised and safeWhat you''ll need:Previous woodworking, joinery or furniture manufacturing experienceExperience making furniture from timberAbility to work independently with little or no supervisionConfidence using hand tools, power tools and workshop machineryGood attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanshipA proactive and practical approach to workWhy apply?Immediate start ..... full job details .....
