Skilled Operative 

£26,436.80 per annum | Permanent | Full-time | 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and manufacture of flagpoles and bespoke products, with full training provided.

• Assemble flagpoles and bespoke products.
• Measure and prepare materials for production.
• Operate production equipment and power tools.
• Move and store materials and finished goods.
• Pack products ready for dispatch.
• Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties.
• Maintain machinery and keep the production area clean and organised.
• Support engineers with day-to-day tasks.
• Occasional local deliveries and off-site work may be required.

• Manufacturing experience, ideally working with metals.
• Confident using power tools or similar equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

• £12.71 per hour
