About the Role

A temporary Site Supervisor role is available in Plymouth, paying £190-£230 daily. You will oversee a small school refurbishment scheme for a local contractor, requiring immediate start. Daily duties include supervising the workforce, ensuring quality and safety standards, and maintaining site records. Essential qualifications are SMSTS or SSSTS, plus First Aid at work. Strong communication, health & safety awareness, and leadership skills are necessary. Reporting to senior management, you will also liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers. This position demands a competent, diligent supervisor with relevant project experience.

A thriving, locally based contractor about to commence a small school refurb scheme is seeking in the form of a competent and diligent Site Supervisor.
In addition to having a relevant project history, the usual SMSTS (or possibly SSSTS) and First aid at work will be required together with good communication, excellent H and S awareness and a willingness to lead from the front.
You''d be responsible responsible for the day to day supervision of a small workforce, ensuring the work is executed with quality in mind and in a safe manner. Reporting into a Senior management team, you''ll also potentially have some liaison with the client, consultants and the supply chain and be responsible for updating site diaries and records. Additionally, as this is a small works contract, if you''re happy to assist with basic decorating that would be greatly appreciated!
