Site Supervisor Required

One of our SEN Schools is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Supervisor to join the team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caretaker, facilities professional, or maintenance operative who takes pride in providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the school site.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school premises each day
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are clean, safe and well maintained
• Conducting health and safety checks and reporting any concerns
• Managing contractors and supporting site-related projects
• Monitoring site security, alarms and access arrangements
• Assisting with room setups for school events and activities
• Supporting compliance with health and safety regulations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience in a caretaker, site supervisor, facilities, maintenance or estates role
• Good practical maintenance and DIY skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
