Site Supervisor - Highways Term Maintenance Contract Duration: 6 Months Location: Bedfordshire Contract Type: ContractJob Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor on behalf of our Bedfordshire based client to oversee works under a highways term maintenance contract. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for a proactive and safety-conscious individual with experience supervising highways maintenance or civil engineering works. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance throughout the contract. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day site operations across highways maintenance works. Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure works are delivered efficiently. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation, risk assessments and method statements. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site inspections. Monitor work progress against programme requirements and report any issues or delays to the relevant management team. Ensure highways works are completed to the required quality standards and contractual specifications.
