Start: ASAPThe OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join a major highways and infrastructure project in Surrey. Reporting directly to the Senior Site Engineer, you''ll play a key role in the successful delivery of earthworks, drainage, Section 278 works, carriageway construction and associated highways infrastructure. This is a long-term contract offering an excellent Outside IR35 rate and genuine continuity of work on major civil engineering projects.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Site Engineer, assist with the day-to-day engineering delivery of the project.Carry out setting out, surveying and verification of construction works.Supervise daily site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to specification.Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.Support delivery of earthworks, drainage, Section 278 and carriageway works.Manage QA documentation, ITPs, inspections, testing records and as-built information.Produce and update accurate as-built surveys and AutoCAD drawings.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to maintain programme.Maintain accurate ..... full job details .....
