Fantastic opportunity in the Huntingdon area for a CPC qualified Site Operations Manager to join a fast moving and dynamic operation.

Key Responsibilities

Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day transport operation

Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner

Efficient management of vehicle scheduling and the maximisation of vehicle utilisation

Recruitment, retention and training of the distribution team.

Key Skills/Experience

Track record in a similar role within a customer centric transport operation

Transport Manager CPC is essential

Proven experience of delivering against agreed budgets and KPI''s

Ensuring site compliance with all relevant employment / transport legislation

Proven leadership abilities with the presence and charisma to lead a sizeable team

An understanding of CI techniques, KPI management, Employment Law and HandS legislation
