Site Manager - Schools Experience

Job Title: Site Manager (Vegetation Clearance & Tarmacking Works)
Location: West London (School Site)
Start Date: Monday 30th March
Duration: Short-term contract (with potential extension)
Rate: -250 a day

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee vegetation clearance and tarmacking works at an active school site in West London. This role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to health & safety, and the ability to manage subcontractors efficiently within a live environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations for vegetation removal and surfacing works
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is delivered on time and to specification
• Maintain strict health & safety standards, particularly within a live school setting
• Liaise with school representatives, clients, and project stakeholders
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates/reports
• Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar projects (groundworks, surfacing, or landscaping)
• Valid SMSTS certification
• CSCS card
• First Aid at Work certification
• Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• DBS -Check
