Site Manager

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Manager to help deliver a Yorkshire Water project, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Toolbox talks
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Health and safety compliance
• Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
• Reporting progress to the Project Manager

Site Manager Requirements:

• Black or Gold CSCS
• SMSTS
• Previous Yorkshire Water or water industry experience is essential
• Strong civil engineering background
• Experience managing water infrastructure projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence
