Job DescriptionSite Manager Retail Fit-Out London (Contract) - £280-£300 per day | Freelance | High-Profile Retail Programme | Central London LocationWe are looking for a driven and experienced Site Manager to lead a fast-paced retail fit-out project in central London for a main contractor known for high-spec MEP-led delivery.This is a key freelance opportunity for a hands-on, detail-focused Site Manager with a background in retail or high-end fit-out. You will take ownership of the site daily, ensuring exceptional finishes, tight programme control, and seamless coordination of trades.Key Responsibilities:

Own the site from day one, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused delivery.Drive works on site to meet key milestones. Sequence trades effectively, foresee delays, and keep everything on track without compromising on finish.Champion best practices.Carry out inductions, maintain RAMS, and lead daily briefings and HandS audits.Uphold exceptional standards across all finishes. Conduct inspections and snagging to ensure compliance with design intent and client expectations.Act as the key site contact between subcontractors, the main contractor, and client representatives. Maintain clear communication and reporting at all times.Candidate Requirements:

5+ years experience as a Site Manager in fit-out or retail-led construction environments.Strong understanding of MEP integration within fast-track fit-out environments.Proven track record in delivering high-quality finishes to tight deadlines.Excellent communication and coordination skills.SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are essential.What’s On Offer:
