We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join our team on a flagship industrial development, in the Bristol Area.-
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who thrives in a high-performance environment and has a proven track record of managing complex packages on major construction projects.
You''ll be an experienced Site Manager with a strong background delivering large-scale construction projects within demanding programmes.
You''ll have:
- Proven experience managing major industrial, logistics, manufacturing, commercial, or data centre projects.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
- A strong focus on programme delivery without compromising safety or quality.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate site teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and subcontractor management.
- The ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing multiple work fronts simultaneously.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Black or Gold Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- A relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of designated work areas, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and site supervisors to maintain productivity and programme milestones.
- Drive short-term planning and daily site coordination to meet an accelerated construction programme.
- Monitor progress, identify potential delays, and implement practical solutions to maintain programme.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure efficient site operations.
- Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and snagging to ensure work is delivered right first time.
- Manage site documentation, permits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performing site culture.
