Our client is seeking an experienced construction Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a residential apartment development on a busy site in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised professional to join a well-established project team on an on-going basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the site alongside the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain programme deadlines.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to in line with current legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress updates.
  • Liaise with the project management team, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication throughout the project.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates
  • Proven experience managing residential construction projects, ideally apartment developments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to drive programme delivery while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.
