We are working in partnership with a respected civil engineering contractor based in Aberdeen, known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and groundworks projects across the North East of Scotland. With a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day site operations on a range of civils projects.Role Overview
As
Site Manager , you will take full responsibility for the management of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. You''ll coordinate directly with project teams, subcontractors, and clients and lead the site team to deliver successful outcomes.Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations on site, including labour, plant and subcontractorsEnsure projects are delivered safely, in line with company and legal HSE standardsMaintain quality control and ensure compliance with specifications and drawingsCoordinate materials, equipment, and deliveriesMonitor programme and progress, reporting back to project/contract managersLead site meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholdersManage site documentation, RAMS, inductions, permits and daily recordsSupport junior staff and promote a positive, safety-first site cultureRequirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering (e.g. roads, groundworks, drainage, structures, infrastructure)SMSTS (or SSSTS minimum)CSCS card - Supervisor/Manager levelStrong understanding of health and safety, environmental and quality standardsExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentsFull UK Driving LicenceWhat''s on Offer
