Site Manager
We are working with a well-established M&E contractor with multiple UK offices. Their-North West office-particularly has experienced rapid growth over the last few years & they have-many projects secured and pending. They have a range of new-build and refurbishment projects across the North West, with a strong presence in the healthcare and hospital sectors.
As the business continues to take on projects where they act as Principal Contractor, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager from a construction or civils background to complement their existing M&E expertise.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the wider construction delivery of projects, working closely with the company''s M&E teams, clients, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality.

Coordinating construction, civils and M&E works and managing subcontractors.

Working closely with clients and acting as a key point of contact on site.

Supporting programme planning and resolving construction issues as they arise.

Ensuring RAMS, permits, site documentation and health & safety requirements are maintained.

Providing construction and civils expertise alongside the company''s M&E capability.

Supporting the basic commercial side of projects, including Bills of Quantities, measurements, pricing works and variations.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong general construction and/or civils background and good knowledge of construction processes and site delivery.
You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar.

Experience across new-build and/or refurbishment projects.

Strong subcontractor and site management experience.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

The ability to coordinate construction and M&E activities effectively.

A basic commercial understanding, including BOQs, measurements and pricing.

Experience within healthcare, hospitals or other complex/live environments would be advantageous.

Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
