Site Manager

Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to work on the HMP Glasgow project. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile, secure site, ideal for a candidate with strong organisational skills and experience managing logistics on large construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all logistics operations across the site, ensuring efficient coordination of materials, plant, and deliveries Manage site access, traffic management, and security procedures in line with HMP requirements Supervise subcontractors, logistics teams, and site operatives Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations and site protocols Coordinate with project managers and main contractors to maintain programme schedules Maintain clear communication across all site teams and stakeholders Resolve any logistical challenges to minimise disruption to the project Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects Experience working on secure or high-security sites (preferred) Valid SMSTS certification CSCS card (Manager level) First Aid at Work certification Full PPE Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to work within strict security procedures and deadlines Details: Start Date: ASAP (flexible) Duration: Ongoing / Long-term Location: HMP Glasgow, G21 Additional Information: Due to the nature of this project, candidates may be required to undergo security clearance checks prior to starting on site. ..... full job details .....
