Site Manager

We are working with an established and growing main contractor looking to appoint a hands on Site Manager. The business delivers a varied mix of projects across the education, residential and insurance sectors, including refurbishment, reinstatement and general building works. They are looking for someone who enjoys being close to the day to day running of a project and has a strong practical understanding of construction. This isn''t a role for someone who wants to manage purely from behind a desk. You''ll be out on site, managing subcontractors, and keeping works moving. The Role You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects, including: Managing subcontractors and trades on site Driving programme and maintaining quality Coordinating works and sequencing Managing health and safety Identifying and resolving site issues Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider team Maintaining good relationships with clients and subcontractors What We''re Looking For We''re particularly interested in Site Managers who are comfortable getting into the detail. You should be able to demonstrate: Previous Site Management experience Strong knowledge of the build process and sequencing A proactive, hands-on approach Confidence managing subcontractors and trades Experience across refurbishment, residential, education or insurance works would be beneficial SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid This is a permanent opportunity with a growing ..... full job details .....
