Site Manager - Utilities Salary: £60,000 + £5,400 Car Allowance/Company Vehicle + PackageLocation: Plymouth Please note: Previous experience within water utilities is essential for this position. The Opportunity An established Civil Engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its delivery team, working across a long-term water infrastructure framework throughout Devon and Cornwall. You''ll be responsible for schemes valued between £50k and £2m, covering pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations, screens, runways and associated civil engineering works. This position will suit a Site Manager who knows the water utilities sector well, is comfortable overseeing several schemes at once and can maintain high standards of safety, quality, programme and commercial performance in a busy framework environment. What You''ll Be Doing Taking ownership of multiple live projects, you''ll manage delivery from site mobilisation through to completion, working closely with operational, commercial and client teams. Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing multiple clean water and wastewater infrastructure schemes. Managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to maintain safe and productive delivery. Planning and coordinating programmes to meet agreed milestones and client deadlines.
