Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential construction site in Hull, specialising in house building and groundworks. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a solid background in residential construction and managing on-site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

• Ensure groundworks and house building operations are completed on time and within budget.

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce health and safety regulations.

• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.

• Maintain accurate site records including site diaries, material deliveries, and inspections.

• Liaise with architects, engineers, and local authorities as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction (particularly groundworks and house building).

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.

• CSCS card (Black or Gold preferred).

• First Aid at Work certification (preferred).

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

• Full UK driving licence.
