Site Manager (Civils)

Overview We are looking for a Site Manager with a strong civils background for a battery energy storage project in Southampton. The role involves managing civils and groundwork packages from start through to completion, including drainage, ducting, concrete slabs, and associated infrastructure. This is a live site and you will be responsible for coordinating direct labour, subcontractors, and ensuring CDM compliance across the project. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure HSEQ standards are met Manage civils packages including earthworks, ducting, and foundations Coordinate subcontractors and direct operatives Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and manage site documentation Ensure programme deadlines and quality standards are achieved Liaise with the client, engineers and management team on progress Requirements SMSTS First Aid CSCS (Black or Gold card preferred) Previous experience on civils, infrastructure or battery storage projects Strong understanding of CDM and site compliance Ability to lead site teams effectively and manage subbies Local to Southampton or commutable distance Application For immediate consideration, please apply with your CV or call Rich at Site Managers (phone number removed). ..... full job details .....
