We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 6-week roofing project on a school in Wakefield.

This is a non-working Site Manager position, responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring health & safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining programme. The only hands-on aspect of the role will be needing a telehandler license to help moving aterials at height.

• Oversee the roofing works from start to completion.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and on programme.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and maintain health & safety standards.
• Liaise with the client, school representatives and project team.
• Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
• Operate a telehandler when required to assist with moving materials onto the roof.

• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work
• Asbestos Awareness
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential due to working on a live school)
• Valid telehandler Licence (essential)
