Site Manager

Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Manager to join a recognised regional contractor on a civil engineering project in Bridgwater

The successful candidate will have a previous background in civil engineering, groundworks and earthworks.

As a Site Manager you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
• Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively.
• Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
• Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment.

Our client requires a Site Manager with:

• Valid CSCS
• SMSTS
• A good understating of health & safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• A background in civil engineering and earthworks

Salary and benefits include:

• -325 - -375 per day CIS Umbrella
