M&E Site Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Site Manager to oversee all M&E aspects of a major commercial construction project. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality delivery, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and project timelines. This is a key leadership role requiring both technical expertise and strong on site management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication
• Monitor progress and prepare reports on project milestones
• Identify and resolve any on site issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and installations
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• CSCS card (Management level)
• Enhanced DBS check required-
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
