Site Engineer - Site Investigation

Our client is seeking a Site Engineer to support ground investigation and geotechnical projects across Glasgow and wider UK locations. This is a permanent, full-time, site-based role suited to someone with practical site investigation contracting experience and a strong understanding of geology.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of ground investigation and geotechnical site projectsSupervise and coordinate site-based investigation activities safely and efficientlyEnsure equipment is available, maintained and used correctly on siteWork in accordance with project specifications, health and safety procedures and environmental requirementsCommunicate effectively with site teams, senior engineers, directors, clients and subcontractorsMaintain accurate site records and provide operational updates where requiredAssist with managing site activities to meet programme and quality requirementsPromote high standards of workmanship, safety and professional conductJob Requirements:Experience in site investigation contracting is essentialUnderstanding of geology, ground conditions and geotechnical investigation methodsPractical experience working on ground investigation, geotechnical or geo-environmental sitesAbility to work full-time in a site-based role without office-based or report-writing responsibilitiesStrong awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements within a site engineering environmentGood organisational, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to ..... full job details .....
