Senior Site Engineer - Site Investigation

Our client is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to support ground investigation and geo-environmental projects across Durham, Glasgow, Manchester and wider UK locations. This is a permanent, full-time and entirely site-based role, focused on leading field operations and delivering site investigation contracts safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Leading the delivery of ground investigation and site investigation projects across a range of sectorsManaging day-to-day site operations, logistics, resources and project programmesSupervising Site Engineers, subcontractors and field teamsProviding technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and graduatesMonitoring productivity, quality, safety and compliance throughout site activitiesActing as a professional site-based point of contact for clients, project managers and stakeholdersMaintaining accurate site records and ensuring project information is kept up to dateIdentifying operational risks and implementing corrective actions to support successful project deliveryJob Requirements:Significant experience in site investigation contracting, ground investigation or related field operationsBackground in geology, earth sciences, environmental science, geotechnical engineering or a related disciplineStrong understanding of site investigation techniques and ground conditionsExperience supervising site teams and coordinating field-based activitiesAbility to lead projects safely, efficiently and in line ..... full job details .....
