Site Engineer

We are urgently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways project in Hull, with an immediate start available from tomorrow.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme, supporting the delivery of highways and civil engineering works as part of an established project team.

Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways and associated civil engineering works.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Carrying out surveys and checking works.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the client team.
• Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with setting-out equipment including GPS and Total Station.
• Strong understanding of highways construction and engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• CSCS Card essential.
• SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
