Site Engineer

Our client, a leading consultancy in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Freelance Site Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. This role is centred around a public realm improvement scheme in the busy town centre. specifically supporting highway works as part of a dynamic and dedicated site team.

• Carrying out engineering checks in line with quality and compliance requirements
• Supporting quality management processes, including ITPs and inspections
• Managing and responding to TQs and RFIs, liaising with the client''s design team
• Working closely with the Site Agent, Foreman, and subcontractor engineers
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with specifications and standards
• Coordinating client sign-off for quality inspections
• Raising and managing NCRs where required
• Undertaking surveying duties as needed

• Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within highways or public realm projects
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and engineering compliance
• CSCS card (essential)
• SSSTS or SMSTS preferred

• 6-point PPE provided
