Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major Highways Improvement Scheme on a long-term freelance basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled Senior Site Engineer seeking stability, continuity, and an immediate start on a well-structured highways project.Key Responsibilities: Setting out for highways, drainage, earthworks, and associated civils works. Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and project programmes. Managing QA documentation including ITPs, RFIs, and as-builts. Liaising with the Site Manager, Subcontractors, and Design Teams. Maintaining health and safety standards on-site at all times. Leading a team of engineers and providing technical support where necessary.Requirements: SMSTS (valid). First Aid (valid). Civil Engineering qualification (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent). Full UK Driving Licence. Proven experience on highways or infrastructure schemes. Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running.
