Freelance Construction Site AgentLocation: Bedford Day Rate: 400 - 450 per dayRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Freelance Construction Site Agent to support the delivery of highway construction and planned works schemes. You will play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise construction schemes on-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant deliveryPlan and coordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor resourcesLiaise with key stakeholders including network managers, local authorities, designers, and community representativesEnsure Construction Phase Plans, method statements, and safe systems of work are implemented and adhered toMaintain high health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards at all timesEnsure all personnel (direct and subcontract) are competent and appropriately trainedTake responsibility for the commercial performance of schemes, working closely with commercial teamsMaintain accurate site records, including diaries, progress updates, resource allocation, and as-built documentationSupport programme development, phasing plans, and construction methodologiesDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with supply chain partnersContribute to buildability reviews, Early Contractor Involvement, and traffic management planningParticipate in value engineering and value ..... full job details .....
