Freelance Site Agent - Highways & Earthworks
Location: Near Chichester
Rate: £500 per day
Start: Immediate
Duration: Initial 4-week contract, with a strong likelihood of extension as Phase 1 of the works progresses.
Payment: Umbrella PAYE or Ltd Company (subject to status)

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Agent to join a major highways project near Chichester, overseeing a significant package of earthworks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Agent with a proven track record of delivering highways and earthworks projects safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
·Manage day-to-day site operations on a major highways earthworks package.
·Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme.
·Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers.
·Monitor progress, quality, and HSEQ compliance.
·Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, and client representatives.
·Resolve site issues and maintain accurate site records and reporting.
Essential Requirements
·Degree in Civil Engineering.
·Previous experience as a Site Agent on highways projects.
·Strong earthworks experience is essential.
·Valid CSCS Managers Card.
·Excellent communication and leadership skills.
·Full UK driving licence.
