Due to continued demand and workload, the site is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to the shift team. You ll be working in a small, close-knit maintenance function, partnered alongside an electrician, carrying out PPM and breakdowns on varied industrial plant.Skills required for the Shift Mechanical Engineer Strong hands-on maintenance background in an industrial / heavy engineering environmentGood mechanical fault-finding skills across: Bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, rollersHydraulics and pneumaticsWelding / fabrication (advantageous) Machinery / Plant: Crushers, conveyors, screening equipment, furnace, moulds (ingot), wire and stripper.The Shift Mechanical Engineer will benefit from Working for a company that values and supports its engineersStrong benefits package including: Stakeholder pension (after 6 months) with up to 10% company contribution (subject to employee contribution)3x salary death-in-service (if in the pension scheme)Employee Assistance ProgrammePhysiotherapy benefitBlood Bonus Scheme Please note: This is a heavy-industry environment with cold/damp/hot areas.
