Shift Manager

Location: Swinton M28/Trafford M17 Salary: £30,000 £35,000 per year (Or depending on experience) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM Join a dynamic warehouse team in Swinton specialising in high-quality homeware distribution and e-commerce operations. We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to lead warehouse operations during the afternoon shift, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent team performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch. Manage stock storage, organisation, and inventory accuracy while maintaining safety standards. Supervise loading and unloading activities and coordinate with logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations. Lead, motivate, and support warehouse operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Drive KPI performance, identify process improvements, and resolve operational bottlenecks. Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies. What You ll Bring Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles. Essential: Previous e-commerce warehouse experience. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
