Shift Lead Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Lead Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a prestigious client based in the heart of the City of London on a temp-to-perm basis.We are seeking a highly motivated, self-sufficient, and technically skilled individual with strong leadership qualities and a proactive approach to facilities maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to work within a professional and experienced engineering team, delivering exceptional building maintenance services within a high-profile commercial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of engineers during shift operations.Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks.Respond to emergency callouts and critical incidents.Ensure all plant and building services are maintained to the highest standards.Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site procedures and health and safety requirements.Review and approve permits, RAMS, and contractor documentation.Complete maintenance records, logbooks, and compliance documentation.Attend client meetings and provide technical support where required.Conduct emergency lighting testing and associated compliance checks.Maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems and associated control systems.Carry out electrical maintenance, including lighting, power, wiring, testing, fire alarm systems, BMS interfaces, and associated building services equipment.Support the management of building ..... full job details .....
