Electrical Shift EngineerCanary Wharf£56,000 - £60,000 We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a facilities management team at a large commercial building in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician to work within a high-profile commercial environment, taking responsibility for the maintenance and operation of the building''s landlord areas. The role covers a broad range of electrical and general building services maintenance, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational. Working on a continental shift pattern covering both days and nights, you will be part of an established engineering team responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and technical support across the building. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical maintenance across landlord areas. Diagnose faults and complete electrical repairs to minimise equipment downtime. Maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, emergency lighting and associated building services. Support the maintenance of plant rooms, risers, landlord supplies and communal areas. Respond to building faults and emergencies, ensuring issues are resolved safely and efficiently. Complete routine inspections, testing and fault-finding activities. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and relevant electrical regulations.
